On Thursday evening my Mima and I drove from San Diego to Los Angeles and spent the night with Cousin Ray. His daughter is named Jenny, just like our teacher. On Friday we drove from Los Angeles to San Francisco, and we saw lots and lots of signs. We saw lots of crops--orange and almond trees, grape vines, and cotton trees. Some of the fields had oil wells in them.

When we arrived in Oakland my mama and auntie were working at Green Festival so we didn't see them until Saturday morning. After we got up on Saturday morning we took the BART to San Francisco for Green Fest. It was super fun, they were giving away organic fruit leathers which were yummy.
